The Triple Diamond 4WD Club of NSW (Inc.) is an active, Sydney based four wheel drive club. We are a family friendly club, affiliated with 4WD NSW-ACT, and catering for a wide range of tastes in 4WDing.
Commencing life in 1985 as the Mitsubishi 4WD Owners Club, membership was open to owners of both Mitsubishi 4WDs and all other makes. Popularity saw the club grow quickly, and so the variety of 4WDs driven by our members blossomed. As a result in July 1990 the name of the club was changed in order to more accurately reflect the identity of our members. Since then we have always been known as the Triple Diamond 4WD Club.
We run an active calendar of Day and Weekend Trips during the year to destinations throughout NSW and the ACT. Extended Trips to other destinations throughout Australia are organised annually. We also hold a number of Social Days during the course of the year, and participate in several Environmental and Community based projects.
Comprehensive Driver and Vehicle Awareness Training is provided to all members by our team of Instructors. It is a Club policy that all new members must attend one of our Training Weekends before being allowed to participate on the regular Club trips. The purpose of driver training is to teach new members how they can expect their vehicle to handle in various off-road conditions, good 4WDing techniques, and basic vehicle recovery skills. Training Weekends are held three times a year in the Lake Lyell / Mt. Walker area, near Lithgow. Training is FREE to all members.
Monthly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm in the Granville Diggers Club*, 5 Memorial Drive Granville. Many members gather between 6:00pm & 7:00pm to share a social meal in the bistro. Visitors are always welcome, so why not come along to meet us and join us for a meal beforehand.
